Various Boracay destinations invite guests to try out the numerous resorts in the world-famous island paradise this summer, during Holy Week, or at any time of the year.
Several Boracay resorts joined the Visayas-Mindanao Travel Show 2007 that ran from March 16 to 18 in SM City Cebu and gave out brochures of their summer and Lent packages.
Below are resorts and a travel establishment offering Boracay getaways. Details on room and other rates are taken from the brochures and flyers distributed during the travel show.
Willy’s Beach Club Hotel
Willy’s Beach Club Hotel features 36 newly-renovated luxurious rooms in the beachfront. It says in its brochure that it is a pioneer resort in Boracay and has operated in the island since 1975.
Resort facilities include a multi-purpose hall, cafe and restaurant, bar, and 36 rooms in four categories — grand premier, super deluxe, deluxe, and standard. The rooms are either at the beachfront or overlooking the beach.
From June to November 15, 2007, the resort is offering various packages: 8,390 pesos per person for single occupancy, 4,995 pesos per person for twin sharing, 4,710 pesos per person for triple sharing, and 4,560 per person for four persons sharing a room.
All packages entails guests to a three-day, two-night stay in a deluxe accommodation that comes with air-conditioning, cable TV, mini fridge, telephone, and hot and cold shower. Other package inclusions are:
* daily set breakfast
* one set lunch or dinner
* round trip land and boat transfer
* environment and terminal fee
* souvenir item
* welcome drinks
The resort says there is additional charge on Cebu Pacific and PAL flight arriving at 4 p.m. in Kalibo airport, set lunch or dinner is exclusive of drinks, there is surcharge of 10 to 15 percent on room upgrades, and the packages are subject to government tax of 12 percent.

La Isla Bonita Resort and Restaurant
La Isla Bonita says it is the perfect hideaway resort with its coconut trees, tropical plants, great ocean view, and powder-white sands that Boracay is famous for.
The resort has several rooms of various categories, a restaurant that offers grilled and sizzling delicacies, spa and beauty salon, and safety deposit box for valuables.
It offers services like foreign exchange, airline ticket reservation, laundry and babysitting, mail, and motorbike rental.
Guests can choose to avail of horseback rides, boat and paraw sailing, and tours and trips. La Isla Bonita is in the town of Malay in Aklan and part of the world-famous Boracay island.
The resort classifies its rooms into six categories:
1. Seaview Suite, which costs 5,500 pesos from June to October (lean season for the resort), 7,000 pesos from November to May (peak season), 8,000 pesos during Holy Week, Christmas, and New Year.
The suite can accommodate three people.
2. Family, which costs 5,000 pesos during lean season, 6,500 during peak season, 7,500 pesos during Holy Week, Christmas, and New Year.
The family room may hold up to six occupants.
3. Deluxe, which costs 3,000 during off season, 3,500 during peak season, 4,000 pesos during Holy Week, Christmas, and New Year.
The deluxe room has a capacity of three occupants.
4. Superior, which costs 2,500 pesos during off season, 3,000 pesos during peak season, and 3,500 during Holy Week, Christmas, and New Year.
The superior room may also accommodate three persons.
5. Marble (with cable TV), which costs 1,500 pesos during off season, 2,000 during peak season, and 2,500 pesos during Holy Week, Christmas, and New Year.
6. Fan, which costs 800 during off season, 1,000 during peak season, and 1,500.00 during Holy Week, Christmas, and New Year.

Le Soleil de Boracay Hotel
Le Soleil offers a soothing respite from hectic work schedules, and invites guests to enjoy the beachside lanai ambiance of the resort.
Its amenities include a restaurant whose large windows open out to hotel grounds, courtyard pool for a break from the hectic Boracay beach, and terrace bar where guests can unwind with the setting sun as backdrop.
The resort’s Mediterranean-inspired rooms are classified into four categories, with all rooms having:
* air conditioning
* 24-hour hot and cold water
* magnetic door lock system
* IDD, NDD and state of the art telephone system
* mini-bar
* coffee and tea making facilities
* hair dryers
* safety deposit box
Room rates for the regular and lean season and peak season are in US dollars. The following are the rates for the rooms: deluxe–120 dollars (lean), 138 dollars (peak); superior deluxe room–130 (lean), 149.50 (peak); family room–160 (lean), 184 (peak); junior suite–180 (lean), 207 (peak).
For round-trip airport transfers, Le Soleil charges 12 dollars for via Caticlan Airport route and 15 dollars for via Kalibo Airport route.
Le Soleil currently offers the Boracy Pleasure Package and Boracay Getaway-Wellness Package.
The Boracay Pleasure Package involves a three-day, two-night stay in a deluxe room at the resort for 10,500 pesos per person for single occupancy, 5,850 per person for double occupancy, 5,250 pesos per person for triple occupancy, and 4,800 pesos for quadruple occupancy.
An extra night with breakfast costs 4,750 pesos per person for single occupancy, 2,500 pesos per person for double occupancy, 1,800 pesos per person for triple occupancy, and 1,650 pesos per person for quadruple occupancy.
The package comes with two days set Filipino or American breakfast and one night set dinner, round-trip airport transfers via Caticlan, and welcome drinks and lei upon arrival. It is valid until May 31, 2007 except April 1-7, 2007.
The Boracay Getaway-Wellness Package is a three-day, two-night stay in a superior deluxe room. The cost per person for a single occupancy under the package is 11,050 pesos, double occupancy is 6,400 pesos, triple occupancy is 5,800 pesos, quadruple occupancy is 5,350 pesos.
Package comes with two days buffet breakfast, one day barbecue dinner buffet, one Le Soleil massage, round-trip airport transfers via Caticlan, and welcome drinks and lei upon arrival. Package is valid from April 8 to May 31, 2007.
Both packages are subject to 12 percent government tax. They can be availed by local residents, expatriates, and balikbayans. Also, roundtrip transfers via Kalibo has additional charge of 250 pesos per person.
Children 7 years old and below are charged round-trip airport transfers of 500 pesos per child if sharing bed with parents and without breakfast. Child rate of 2,800 pesos is applicable to children 8-11 years old sharing room with two adults.

Paradise Garden Resort Hotel
Paradise Garden says a stay in Boracay’s premiere resort is akin to experiencing the “real pleasures of paradise.”
The resort has 100 air-conditioned rooms in three categories:
* Deluxe, under which falls the bungalows and Mabuhay cottages
* VIP, which refers to VIP Bungalows and Greenhouse Villas
* Suites, with the Pacific and Oriental Suites, Residential Suites, Royal Suite
All rooms come with hot and cold, potable water, cable TV, mini bar, safety box, and telephone with IDD facilities.
The resort spans 15,000 square meters of landscaped garden with tropical plants and foliage.
It has 3 swimming pools: Roman pool and Waterfalls pool, which is divided into the adult and children sections.
Resort facilities, aside from the pools and rooms, include two restaurants, spa and massage salon, and facilities for activities like table tennis, billiards/pool, and darts. Water sports equipment are also available.
Resort room rates, in US dollars, are: 115 for Mabuhay cottages, 145 for deluxe rooms, 170 for VIP rooms, 180 for Junior suites, 190 for a one bedroom suite, 250 for a two-bedroom suite, 350 for a three-bedroom suite, 505 for a royal suite. Extra person with in the room costs 28. The rate for the extra person includes a buffet breakfast. All room rates are inclusive of buffet breakfast for two persons.
A buffet breakfast costs 11 dollars while buffet lunch or dinner costs 18 dollars per person and can be prepared for a minimum of 20 persons.
Rates for round-trip transfers is 28 dollars via Kalibo and 17 dollars via Caticlan.
The resort considers children 7 years old and above as adults.

Boracay Beach Resort
Located right smack in the middle of Boracay Island, the Boracay Beach Resort location makes for a “quiet respite from the island’s bustling party scene but close enough to its heart for those who want a complete Boracay experience.”
The resort says its suites offer a stunning 180-degree view of Boracay beach.
It adds that the resort frontage as well as suite details were designed by international architect Mike Batchelor.
The resort says it is the only establishment in the island that provides a personal butler or maid in every suite.
Rates for the different room categories are as follows:
Standard Bungalow, 3,051 pesos. These are duplex bungalows with aircon and hot shower.
Deluxe Bungalow, 3,390 pesos. These are duplex bungalows with aircon, cable TV, mini bar, and hot shower.
Detached Bungalow, 3,955 pesos. Comes with aircon, cable TV and hot shower.
Garden View Suite, 6,054 pesos. Has aircon, mini bar, hot shower, cable TV, DVD, and private veranda.
Ocean View Suites 1 and 4, 11,300 pesos. With coffee machine, mini bar, cable TV, hot shower, laundry service, and private living room.
Ocean View Suites 2 and 3, 10,170 pesos. Includes coffee machine, mini bar, cable TV, hot shower, laundry service, and private living room.
From June 1, 2007 to October 16, 2007, considered the off season, there is discount of 25 percent on regular season rates of rooms.
Rates exclude 12 percent government tax.
Round-trip transfers cost 1,000 pesos per person via Kalibo and 700 via Caticlan. Extra person in bungalows costs 750 pesos and 2,260 in suites.

The Southwind Travel and Tours, Inc. offers a Boracay summer package for as low as 3,555 per person. The rate includes a 3-day, 2-night accommodation (triple occupancy), daily breakfast, roundtrip airport-resort transfers, and welcome drinks.
It also has a Holy Week package, applicable date runs from April 1-8, that includes a 3-day, 2-night accommodation at Marzon Beach Resort or La Carmela Beach Resort. Package costs 5,333 to 5,888 pesos per person for triple occupancy, 4,444 to 4,666 pesos for twin sharing, and 3,999 to 4,111 for single occupancy. Inclusions are breakfast, round-trip airport-resort transfers, and welcome drinks.

i would like to ask if theres a boracay package, round trip and accomodations for 10 persons for 3 days and 2 nights? because we are planning to have a vacation there with my friends next year 2009.
