I'm a native from the Philippines and I sure do hope this trend will continue. I do have qualms about the handling of historical sites though, a lot of them has been destroyed due to land development (better known as urbanization) in spite of the complaints of local historical groups. Makes me wonder which is worst? Being a zealot or a politician.
