Cebu-based Manny O. Wines wins awards

Manny O. WinesManny O.’s signature wine series received nine awards in various competitions in Hong Kong, Germany, Spain, and France from 2009 to 2010.

The awards serve as validation of the acceptance in Asia and the globe of the look, smell, and taste of Manny O. wine products.

Manny O.’s “Discipulus Blanc” got two awards in two food-pairing categories (sashimi and dimsum) at the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirit Competition held on November 4, 2010.

In that same competition, its “Sumiller” also garnered two awards: Red Wine and food-pairing (braised abalone) categories.

SEVERAL ABS-CBN male lead actors are doing a show at 7 p.m. this Saturday, January 15, 2011, at a hotel in Cebu, Philippines.

The Kapamilya leading men who are performing at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu City this Sinulog 2011 are Gerald Anderson, Enchong Dee, Sam Milby, Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Jake Cuenca, and Zanjoe Marudo.

Joining them is special guest Pokwang.

Tickets to the show are priced as follows: VIP, P2,500; Premium, P2,000; De Luxe, P1,000; Patron, P800; and Balcony, P600.
