For three consecutive years, SM City Cebu will once again host one of the highlights of Sinulog 2011–the 3rd Sinulog Fireworks Competition which will happen on Jan. 15 starting at 8 p.m. fronting the Northwing.
Eight contestants from all over the country will compete during the fireworks competition. Grand champion will win P120,000.
In 2009, DSS Fireworks from Dumaguete City was chosen as the champion, while Pyrohaven from Bulacan emerged as the champion in last year’s fireworks competition.

On Saturday, Jan. 15, at 6 p.m., the award-winning Mantawi Dance Integrated Dance Company will do a street dance and cultural show at the outdoor Event Plaza, followed by a fire dance performing to a live tribal beat band. At 8 p.m. watch the Sinulog Grand Fireworks competition up close from the same outdoor garden of the hotel.

From Jan. 10 to 16, the Feria commemorates the arrival of the Sto. Niño and the Spanish expedition, with a Spanish food festival. Classic and favorite Spanish dishes will be highlighted in the restaurant’s lunch and dinner buffet, for only P975+.

Fashion accessory designer extraordinaire Noreen Tseng will prove to Cebuanos that she’s one of the country’s most exciting craftswomen when it comes bracelets, necklaces, earrings, among others. She officially launched Tseng with her first collection in December 2007, and immediately made a name for herself when she won the 2008 Cebu Fashion Accessory Design Competition and the Zee magazine’s Editor’s Choice Award in the Professional Designers.

GARDENIA Cebu plant is now fully operational with a daily capacity of 50,000 loaves serving the needs of the entire province of Cebu and the Northern Mindanao area.
The company rapidly completed the construction of its new plant after receiving numerous requests and demands of bringing Gardenia products to Cebu and nearby provinces.
GARDENIA bread is now available in Cebu. The company said its plant in Lapu-Lapu City is fully operational and has a daily capacity of 50,000 loaves.
Known for making bread production process a notch higher, Gardenia’s Cebu plant features giant horizontal mixers from the United States, an automated dough divider-rounder and intermediate proofer equipment from the Netherlands, a tunnel oven with a race track bread cooling conveyor from Germany, and an automated slicer and bread bagger from the United States.
