3-act ballet Sleeping Beauty performed in Cebu September 2-3

Balletcenter and the Arts Council of Cebu Foundation, Inc. bring to Cebu “Sleeping Beauty” on September 2 and 3, 2011.

Sleeping Beauty is a full-length ballet in three acts with prologue.

The activity happens at 3 p.m. on September 2 and 7:30 p.m. on September 3 at the Theater of the Performing Arts in Ayala Center Cebu.

It will have the special participation of Candice Adea of Ballet Philippines, Nicolas Pacana-who is formerly wtih the Boston Ballet and Atlanta Ballet, acclaimed stage director Benjie Diola, and many others.

Marco Polo Cebu offers Asian cuisine at Cafe Marco

Marco Polo Plaza in Cebu will hold the Asian Food Festival from September 2 to 11, 2011.

The hotel will be offering Asian cuisine, including dishes from Vietnam, Korea, China, and Thailand, all throughout the festival. Celebrity guest chefs Gene and Gino Gonzales will prepare the dishes.

Construction show in Cebu from September 1-3

Construct Visayas, Cebu’s largest construction show, is happening from September 1-3, 2011 at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino in Lahug.

It is the 2nd Visayas International Construction Equipment, Building Materials, Interior and Exterior Products Exhibition and Technology Forum. Show hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on September 1-2 and 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 3.
